FOUNDATION EDITION

Following the encouraging response from Members of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club a Foundation Edition of A Life's Two Nines, will be published, limited to 100 signed and numbered copies. Each Foundation Edition includes:

• a signed Collectors' Certificate;

• an individually numbered copy; and

• entry in the Foundation Edition Roll of Original Owners.

The Foundation Edition is intended not simply as a collector's copy, but as a permanent record of those whose support helped bring this publication into existence while increasing the contribution made to The R&A Foundation.

The Foundation Edition Philosophy

The Foundation Edition represents a simple idea. Independent authors and publishers can help preserve the history of the game while also supporting its future. Through the generosity of Foundation Edition owners, specialist works of golf history can be researched, published and more widely shared, while increasing the funds available to support the charitable work of The R&A Foundation. In that sense, the Foundation Edition is more than a limited edition. It is an example of independent publishing working in partnership with philanthropy.
