GentryLinks Books Ltd is an independent publishing house owned and operated by Alastair Loudon dedicated to the history of ‘the modern game’ of golf as it evolved between 1830 and 1930, as depicted in iconic art.

Alastair has a long heritage in golf, having become a Member of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews in 1969. He believes that important historical golf art deserves publication in the highest quality digital reproduction. He seeks to preserve, interpret and communicate the history of the game through carefully researched and professionally produced publications that make a lasting contribution to golf's literature.
